I really find it hard with my monk, to know whom to cast "Smite Hex" or "Remove Hex" on from my team in mid-battle, because the only thing that indicated a hex is that little down-arrow. Also with my Mesmer I am troubled because I don't know what hexes still are on my enemies.

I think it would take up too much interface space when you see all the icons of hexes one has one besides his/her name.

So I would propose make up some icons or abbreviations for common stuff that hexes do like HD (Health Degeneration), AT (something happens when he attacks, i.e. loses health or energy) etc.

So beneath the party bars would pop up little icons so I would now that the warrior has only a health degeneration on and the nuker has got something on him that makes him lose energy when he casts spells - so I would remove the hex from the nuker first.

Just something that indicated what a person/enemy has on him... it works for the PC so it would work in some way for enemies too I hope.

Any opinions/critics/hurrays?

I wouldn't mind if they did show every single hex/buff on my party members, and also allowed you to target specific hexes/buffs XD

every party member can call which hex / condition he has on him... it only needs the CTRL+click...

another indicator: the aura around the ally - every condition has it's own "glow" or whatnot - with a little experience and a fast eye you can see a lot.

target is always the last/upper hex/enchantment... which allows coating (sth i don't want to miss)

i am fine with the way it is... i would appreciate some small icons in the party window that say a little more about whats on but as mentioned above: most stuff can be seen in some way.

True you can use Ctrl/Click to show what is on you. I tend only to do this when I have a condition. So people will know why I am sluggish and/or why I am stopped so I can do a quick Self Heal/Purge Condition. I should do this for Hexes as well. Good point. I shall do this more often.

You cant also tell whether its a hex or condition by:

Purple Health Bar= Hex
Green Health Bar= Condition
Red Health Bar= good (or they might be bleeding)

But if they are too dumb to CNTRL+click let them die.
Also remember to tell teamates when you have a spell like Backfire or Empathy.
